For the first month or so of school, we’re studying Louisiana’s state history. So on Friday, I’ll be posting a dish that was one of the first ones we had when we moved here: hush puppies. Hush puppies are great with almost anything chicken, seafood, pork, beef, and even by themselves as a snack. We’ve tried a few different recipes and the one I’ll be posting is our favorite one. We like them with jalapenos, but feel free to try something else in them or do them plain. I hope you enjoy making and eating them as much as we do!
